On Wednesday August 2, more 21st century health technology arrived in Otangarei as the iMOKO health screening tool was introduced at Otangarei school.
iMOKO is an iPad-based software screening tool developed by the Navilluso Medical Limited company of Dr Lance and Tracy O’Sullivan.
iMoko will work with kaiāwhina from the community and schools to engage with tamariki and their whānau to address common skin and respiratory illnesses that are easily remedied. A number of health conditions can be diagnosted remotely using the iMoko tools and, where required, prescriptions can be quickly made available at the Hauora or a local pharmacy.
