I have extensive years of experience working with urban Māori communities and high need Māori youth and their Whānau (Families) in a variety of capacities.
I have led many successful projects which have assisted Māori in a variety of areas and volunteers extensively in the urban Māori community. I am a mother of 4 adult Tamariki and grandmother of 11 Mokopuna.
I have lived in my community of Otangarei since the age of eight as well as my siblings who have also brought their homes here in Otangarei and we continue to raise our whanau here as well.
I am very passionate about Otangarei and state it’s not just a place you live at it’s a place you live in which includes been involved with life of the wider community.
