I am currently studying Bicultural Social Services alongside my mahi here at Te Hau Awhiowhio.
I am a wife, a mother of 6 tamariki, and I have a mokopuna. I come from a huge whanau background and they are the most important thing to me.
In my life, beginning as a teenage mum, I faced many obstacles that resulted in needing Awhi for myself and my whanau, These supports gave me knowledge and skills to be able to navigate myself and others through their struggles and needs.
My passion in life as a person is being able to help others whom are facing similar obstacles as once did by helping or teaching them, using my life experiences to navigate them into the right direction or path for them succeed as a tangata, whanau or hapu.
